Plug-in vehicle sales in Germany up 21% y/y in August

Sales of plug-in electric vehicle (PEV), which includes all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV), in Germany jumped 21% year-on-year (y/y) in August to 1,699 units, according to European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO).
