Omron develops in-vehicle non-contact sensor to measure heart rates of driver
The company’s prototype bio-sensing technology is capable of detecting the driver's pulse utilizing radio waves and its proprietary algorithm
Japanese sensors, switches and electronic auto components supplier Omron Automotive Electronics has developed a prototype non-contact pulse sensor that can measure heart rates with high accuracy inside vehicles, where measurements are difficult to perform, the company said in a press release on 29 September.
