Agencies allege that Detroit Diesel sold heavy-duty diesel engines that were not certified by the EPA

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced on 6 October that they had reached a settlement with the Detroit Diesel Corporation over alleged violations of the US Clean Air Act.
