Eberspächer opens new exhaust technology plant in Romania
New plant will have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million mufflers and catalytic converters and up to 5 million pipes by 2020
Germany-based auto parts supplier Eberspächer has opened a new exhaust technology plant in Oradea, Romania, the company said in a press release on 6 October. The plant, spread over an area of around 27,500 square meters, will produce catalytic converters and exhaust silencers for European automakers, the company said, adding that new contracts for its exhaust technology division required the expansion.
