Infineon acquires Dutch company Innoluce to strengthen presence in automated driving
Acquisition provides German chipmaker expertise in all three sensor technologies required for self-driving cars
Infineon Technologies has acquired 100% stake in the Netherlands-based Innoluce, a designer of miniature Lidar laser scanning modules, the company said in a press release. The Germany-based chip maker plans to leverage Innoluce’s expertise to develop affordable sensor systems for self-driving cars.
