Tristone Flowtech establishes first plant in India
Plans to start production at Pune plant in the fourth quarter in 2017
Germany-based engine components supplier Tristone Flowtech Group has set up a manufacturing unit in Pune, Maharashtra, India which has both manufacturing and warehousing capabilities, Business Standard reported on 12 October. The company plans to start production at the plant in the fourth quarter in 2017 and has set aside EUR2.5 million to EUR3 million (around USD2.76 million to USD3.31 million) to set up its manufacturing facility and kick-start operations, an investment that will be made over two years, depending on orders. In future, the plant will produce surge tanks, engine cooling and air charge hose for the Indian automotive market.
