Dutch regulators express concern over name of Tesla's autopilot system

Dutch authorities have yet to make a decision on the matter

The regulatory agency for traffic laws in the Netherlands, the Dutch Road Traffic Service (Rijksdienst voor wegverkeer: RDW), has voiced concerns over whether the name of Tesla's Autopilot driver assistance system could be misleading, according to a Reuters report. The agency has approved the system for use on Dutch roads, but a spokesperson said the RDW has misgivings about the name Tesla has chosen for it, with discussions taking place within the agency over the name and whether it is appropriate.
