Car production falls 11.8% y/y in Russia over Q1–3
A gradual improvement is forecast to start in 2017.
Russian passenger car production fell by 11.8% year on year (y/y) in the first nine months of 2016 to 807,000 units, according to the Federal State Statistics Service. The government's statistics service also stated that passenger car production fell by 3.6% y/y in September, although it was at least up 16.6% from the prior month's output.
