The companies expect to close the transaction in the first half of 2017

Germany-based carbon products manufacturer SGL Group has signed a pact to sell its graphite electrode (GE) business to Japan-based chemical engineering firm Showa Denko for EUR350 million (around USD383.60 million), the former said in a press release on 20 October.
