Ballard forms JV for production of fuel cell stacks in China
To set up fuel cell stack production operation in Yunfu city
Canada-based hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer Ballard Power Systems has formed a joint venture (JV) with Guangdong Nation Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology (GNSHPT) to set up an FCvelocity-9SSL fuel cell stack production operation in the City of Yunfu, in China’s Guangdong Province, the company said in a press release on 25 October. Ballard received initial payments totaling USD10.9 million for this.
