China issues roadmap for developing autonomous vehicles
Autonomous cars to be commercialized in China by 2021
The Chinese authorities have issued a roadmap for the development of autonomous vehicles, reports Reuters. The roadmap paves the way for commercialisation of autonomous cars in China as early as 2021, according to an official mandate issued by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China in a 450-page document, which is considered the blueprint for the industry until 2030, the report states.
