Massachusetts state government is joining other states in taking initiatives to encourage autonomous driving

Charlie Baker, the governor of Massachusetts and Martin J. Walsh, the mayor of Boston have signed executive orders to create regulations and guidelines for autonomous vehicles in Massachusetts, United States, reports Government Technology. The orders require companies working in area of autonomous driving to get approval from the Massachusetts’ Department of Transportation to conduct testing, and create a working group to develop rules and guidelines.
