Ford plans to make vehicles more region-specific
Next key model launch under 'One Ford' will be the next Ford Fiesta in 2017, but the change may be more apparent from early 2018.
Ford is planning to make its future models more region-specific in future, reports Autocar. The automaker's vice-president of design, Moray Callum, told the enthusiast publication that, while the 'One Ford' policy of selling the same basic vehicle in all regions of the world had not been abandoned, new models will be "more tailored to each region".
