Investment of CNY4 billion (USD590 million)

Chinese automaker BYD Auto has begun a project in the northwestern province of Qinghai to produce lithium battery cells. The project is based in Xining, Qinghai, and involves an investment of CNY4 billion (USD590 million), and should generate annual sales of CNY20 billion upon completion, reports AA Stocks.
