Hitachi Automotive supplies drive motors for 2016 Chevrolet Volt
GM engineers design drive motors Japanese supplier is supplying
Hitachi Automotive Systems is supplying electric drive motors for the 2016 Chevrolet Volt range extended electric vehicle, the Japanese supplier said in a press release today (2 November). The company is producing these drive motors at its Berea Motor Plant in Kentucky for delivery at the General Motors’ Warren Plant in Michigan, both in the United States.
