Asahi Kasei’s H1 net income up 12% y/y to USD522 million
Net sales down 7% y/y to USD8.7 billion
Japanese chemicals company Asahi Kasei reported a 12.2% year-on-year (y/y) jump in its net income to JPY52.9 billion (USD522 million) for the first half of fiscal year (FY) 2016, the company announced in a press release on 1 November.
