STMicroelectronics, Valens to collaborate on in-vehicle connectivity
Collaboration to bring Valens’s HDBaseT Automotive technology into next-generation of connected cars
STMicroelectronics and Valens have agreed to collaborate to bring the latter’s ‘HDBaseT Automotive’ technology into the next-generation of connected cars, according to a press release by STMicroelectronics. Valens’s HDBaseT technology enables simultaneous transmission of up to 6 Gbps of video, audio, data and other contents over a single-twisted pair cable with near- zero latency.
