Alcoa completes business separation, Arconic starts trading on NYSE
Business units now part of new company generated USD12.5 billion sales last year
The erstwhile Alcoa Inc. has completed the separation of its business into two independent companies, Arconic Inc. and Alcoa Corporation, the company said in a press release earlier this month. Arconic, the former value added businesses of Alcoa Inc., began trading as a public company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the beginning of this month.
