Aims to be a leading country in autonomous driving technology development
Japan has stepped up its efforts to develop intelligent transportation system by 2020, using autonomous and connected car technologies, reports Automotive News. The country’s regulatory authority has already given approvals to automaker for automated driving tests on highway and unmanned driving tests on public roads in remote low traffic areas.
