Uber unveils redesigned ride-sharing app
First major design overhaul since 2012
Uber has redesigned its ride-sharing app making it more efficient and easier to use, the company said in a press release early this week. The new app comes with several new features that could significantly enhance user experience. “It’s not just a normal update,” said Travis Kalanick, CEO of Uber, during a press briefing on Tuesday (2 November) at the company’s headquarters in San Francisco, California, the United States. “This is a radical redesign and rebuild of the app from scratch,” he said.
