Saint-Gobain’s Q3 sales down 2.1% y/y to USD11 billion
Reconfirms full-year 2016 financial outlook
Saint-Gobain’s sales in the third quarter ended 30 September 2016 declined 2.1% year-over-year (y/y) to EUR9.76 billion (USD10.95 billion), the France-based company said in a press release. While the company benefited from volume growth of 1.6% y/y in all business sectors and all regions and from improved price effect of 0.5% y/y, negative currency impact of 2.6% resulted in net decline in sales in the quarter.
