Ford Motor Company will return its Camaçari plant in Brazil to 24-hour production, according to a local media report. Ford will bring back about 400 workers to the third shift, which had been cut back in March 2016, the report stated. Third-shift production is scheduled to return in February 2017, keeping the plant on two shifts for the next two months. Ford's top executive for South America reportedly said, "Despite the challenging macroeconomic scenario, the introduction of the third shift is a sign of Ford's stronger performance."
