SAIC-VW to build Audi cars in China
Volkswagen (VW) premium brand Audi has outlined a major growth strategy for the Chinese market
Audi, the German premium brand of Volkswagen (VW), has announced that it is to add to its line-up of models produced in China by the FAW-VW joint venture (JV). However, Audi has also announced that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC), which also has a JV with VW, for SAIC-VW to locally produce Audi brand models.
