Automaker’s ambitious plans to equip all of its vehicles with next-generation ‘Autopilot’ is increasing need for advanced data storage

Tesla has invested USD1 million in an advanced data storage system to support its next-generation ‘Autopilot’ driving assist system, reports Electrek. The new data storage system Infibox will help the US electric carmaker store large amount of data which the next generation Autopilot is expected to collect. The storage system has been supplied by INFIDANT, a US-based company specializing in flash-optimised storage system.
