Latest fund raising puts the start-up’s valuation at around USD1.55 billion

Zoox, a tightlipped Silicon Valley start-up that is developing self-driving car technology, has raised USD50 million in funding from Hong Kong-based hedge fund Composite Capital, the Wall Street Journal reported last week, citing people familiar with the development. The latest round of funding raises the company’s valuation to USD1.55 billion.
