Analog Devices acquires solid-state laser beam steering technology from Vescent Photonics
Acquisition positions US-based ADI as major safety system technology partner for next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving applications
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) has acquired a solid-state laser beam steering technology from Vescent Photonics, the company said in a press release on 17 November. According to ADI, Vescent’s technology enables more robust integrated Lidar systems that overcome cost, size and reliability related drawbacks associated with existing mechanical offerings.
