US DOT scouts for driverless car proving grounds
Last date for submitting proposal is 19 December
The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) has launched a competition to identify proving grounds for the development of self-driving cars, reports Automotive News. The selected facilities will be designated as qualified proving grounds for safe testing, demonstration and deployment of autonomous vehicles.
