Tata Steel agrees to sell ‘Specialty Steel’ business to Liberty House Group
Acquired business can produce 1 million ton of steel from electric arc furnace for automotive and aerospace applications
Tata Steel has decided to sell its Specialty Steel business to the Liberty House Group for GBP100 million (USD106 million), reports The Economic Times. The Specialty Steel business could produce 1 million ton of steel from electric arc furnace, which can be used in automotive and aerospace applications. The business unit employs 1,700 people.
