Leclanche, Narada partner to set up lithium-ion battery plant in China
Chinese company to make equity investment in Swiss partner
Leclanche has entered into a strategic partnership with China-based Zhejiang Narada Power Source to develop and produce lithium-ion battery for the Chinese and global market, the Switzerland-based Leclanche said in a press release last week. Under the agreement, the Swiss battery maker will license its lithium-ion cell technologies to the Chinese partner. The Chinese partner, in return, will make equity investment in the Swiss company.
