Start-up’s founder George Hotz had given up project after NHTSA raised safety concern
Self-driving technology start-up Commai.ai has open-sourced software code and hardware of its self-driving kit called Comma One after its original plans to sell the kit attracted scrutiny from the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Reuters reported last week.
