Plant to begin operations in 2018

German supplier Brose has started construction of a new plant in Taicang, Jiangsu province (China), according to a report by Automotive News Europe on 8 December. The Taicang plant, spread over an area of 60,000 square meters, will produce door panels, window regulators, latches, seats, rails and motors when it begins operations in 2018. The plant will supply to Geely, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Volkswagen Group, and Volvo Cars.
