Renault-Nissan to end third shift at Tamil Nadu plant in India
Temporary workers at the plant will be laid off
Renault-Nissan's Chennai vehicle production plant in Tamil Nadu will lose one of the three production lines currently operational, reports the Economic Times. The report adds that temporary workers at the plant will be laid off, while permanent workers will be channelled into other operations in the facility.
