Velodyne unveils design of low-cost solid state Lidar
Company plans to announce the release date of the new technology next year
Velodyne has unveiled the design of a new Lidar sensor that can deliver a subsystem at less than USD50 when sold in high volume, according to a press release. The new sensor can be used in various applications, including ridesharing and autonomous vehicles.
