Tesla introduces 'Idle fee' to increase supercharger availability

For every additional minute the car is connected after charging, idle fee of USD0.40 will be applicable

To reduce waiting time at its superchargers, Tesla has introduced ‘Idle fee’ for cars which are fully charged but still connected to the charger, the electric carmaker said in a press release on 16 December.
