US safety regulator is also probing Jaguar XF, Land Rover Evoque

US regulators and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into the 2013 to 2016 Ram 1500 truck and 2014 to 2016 Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle (SUV) over the operation of its electronic shift technology, according to several media reports. These vehicles have a rotary control for driver gear selections, with gear changes made electronically rather than mechanically.
