EV maker to raise prices to deal with recent decline in pound sterling

Tesla will increase prices of its vehicles in the United Kingdom by around 5% in 2017 in response to the recent decline in pound sterling, The Guardian reported on 22 December. The electric carmaker sent an email to its showrooms in the United Kingdom earlier this week informing them of imminent price hike owing to “currency fluctuations” after the country's vote to leave the European Union (EU).
