Volkswagen to recall 50,000 vehicles in China to fix fault in brake system
Recall covers units of Beetle hatchback made between 1 July 2012 and 6 August 2015, and Golf cars made between 1 July 2012 and 6 July 2013
Volkswagen will recall around 50,000 cars in China in the wake of brake problems that arise with these vehicles when they are driven in cruise control mode for extended duration, AFP reported on 8 January.
