Wolfspeed unveils new SiC MOSFET for EV drivetrains
New chip to reduce EV drivetrain inverter losses by 78%
Wolfspeed, a power and wireless systems manufacturer, has unveiled a 900V, 10mΩ silicon carbide MOSFET (metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor) for electric vehicle drivetrains, the company announced in a press release on 10 January.
