Google is also working on greater integration of ride-sharing apps in its popular navigation

Google has announced a new update in its Google Maps which will allow users to book a ride from Uber and other ride-sharing service providers directly, according to a blog by the tech company last week. “With today’s updates, you’ll now see more types of ride options and more actionable information,” Sara McKinkey Torti, senior product manager at Google wrote in the blogpost.
