Automaker decided to stop producing vehicles in Australia three years ago

General Motors (GM) Holden has announced 20 October 2017 as the closure date for operations at its Elizabeth car plant. According to a report by ABC News, more than 30,000 vehicles will be built before manufacturing ends.
