Latest expansion increases TomTom’s coverage to 54 countries globally

TomTom has introduced its real-time traffic services in Argentina and Columbia, the company said in a press release on 13 January. The latest expansion increases the Netherlands-based navigation expert’s coverage in South America to four countries, after Brazil and Chile, and 54 countries globally. “Traffic congestion remains a major problem for many countries around the world – particularly in larger metropolitan areas,” said Ralf-Peter Schäfer, head of Traffic and Travel Information at TomTom.
