Higher capacity batteries developed by ISRO, ARAI to power small commercial vehicles

India’s space program body, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) have jointly developed a lithium-ion battery to power electric vehicles, The Financial Express newspaper reported today.
