ZF, Continental announce plans to launch cheaper lidar technology – report
Both companies confident of producing solid-state lidar for a few hundred dollars per unit
Germany-based automotive component suppliers ZF Friedrichshafen and Continental AG plan to produce solid-state Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) equipment for automakers by 2019 and 2020 respectively, reports Automotive News.
