Audi and VW recall US cars on airbag defects, engine coolant pumps
Airbag issues are unrelated to recent Takata recalls
The United States' National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulator has announced recalls of nearly 600,000 vehicles. One airbag recall applies to 234,054 Audi Q5 SUVs from 2011 through 2017 model years, according to a Bloomberg report.
