GM to cut 600 jobs in Canada with GMC Terrain's production shift to Mexico – report
CAMI will operate three shifts per day to produce the new Equinox, but with fewer units per hour
General Motors (GM) is cutting jobs at its CAMI plant in Ingersoll, Ontario (Canada) with the switch of the GMC Terrain's production to San Luis Potosi in Mexico in mid-2017, according to a Reuters report. The news agency quoteds a GM spokesperson as saying in an email that, "General Motors Canada provided Unifor advanced notification of labour impacts related to product changeovers and transition at its CAMI facility.
