BMW begins assembly of two PHEVs in Thailand
Thai government aims to have 1.2 million EVs and PHEVs on the country's roads by 2036
BMW Thailand has begun assembling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants of the 3-Series sedan and the X5 sport utility vehicle already assembled in the country. The local EE News service states that the PHEVs are the 330e Luxury sedan variant and the X5 xDrive40e M Sport SUV model that are currently locally assembled.
