u-blox unveils automotive grade Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module
Fully tested samples to be available by Q2 2017
Switzerland-based u-blox, a wireless semiconductor and positioning module manufacturer for multiple industries, has launched a new host-based automotive-grade module JODY-W1, the company said in a press release early this week. Measuring only 19.8 X 13.8 mm the module allows real simultaneous dual band (RSDB) operations resulting in faster Wi-Fi connectivity on 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless bands.
