Expected ready prototypes by third quarter of 2017

UQM Technologies has signed a two-and-one-half-year-long development agreement with Meritor to develop full electric axle systems to cater to increasing medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicle (MHCV) market demand for improved fuel economy and reduced emissions, according to a company press release.
