Japanese chemicals company Asahi Kasei reported a 25% year-on-year (y/y) jump in its net income to JPY89.6 billion (USD767.9 million as on 31 December 2016) for the nine months ended 31 December 2016, the company announced in a press release yesterday (7 February).
