LeddarTech, IDT Partner collaborate to develop new solid-state automotive Lidar solution
Two companies to come up with engineering samples of the LCA ICs by early next year
LeddarTech has entered into a partnership with IDT Partner to jointly develop and supply LeddarCore LCA2 integrated circuits (IC), a receiver IC used in automotive Lidar system, the two companies said in a joint press release on 6 February. Under the agreement, IDT will offer its expertise in component analysis, architecture, design, development, characterization, qualification and transfer to manufacturing of the LCA2 IC. The new-generation IC allows solid-state implementation of Lidar for use in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving system.
